This salad is quick, easy, and delicious! My mom makes this for us all the time. I hope you guys like this recepie as much as I do!
ingredients
- 6 ounces chicken flavored Ramen
- 1 pound chicken breast
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 3/4 cup slivered almonds or peanuts
- 2 pounds cabbage
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon flavor from Ramen package
- 1 dash salt
- 1 dash pepper
directions
- Shred all the cabbage and put into a large bowl
- Cook the chicken breast on skillet, and then shred it once cooked. It should take about ten to fifteen minutes to cook.
- Break up the Ramen into medium pieces and place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Add the peanuts/almonds with the Ramen, and bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow the Ramen and nuts to cool down for a few minutes.
- For the dressing, just mix in the oil, sugar, Ramen flavor package, vinegar, and salt and pepper.
- Mix all the ingredients together.
