Easy Cabbage Salad




This salad is quick, easy, and delicious! My mom makes this for us all the time. I hope you guys like this recepie as much as I do!

ingredients

  • 6 ounces chicken flavored Ramen
  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 3/4 cup slivered almonds or peanuts
  • 2 pounds cabbage
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flavor from Ramen package
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 dash pepper

directions

  1. Shred all the cabbage and put into a large bowl
  2. Cook the chicken breast on skillet, and then shred it once cooked. It should take about ten to fifteen minutes to cook.
  3. Break up the Ramen into medium pieces and place on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Add the peanuts/almonds with the Ramen, and bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Allow the Ramen and nuts to cool down for a few minutes.
  5. For the dressing, just mix in the oil, sugar, Ramen flavor package, vinegar, and salt and pepper.
  6. Mix all the ingredients together.
  7. Enjoy!
